Waking up at 3:40 PM. Catching up on some TV shows. Thinking and writing. Today was a relaxing day and I’m grateful for the mid-winter break, since this gives me time to update my blog.
A few weeks ago, I went to Clinton St. Baking Co. & Restaurant with some friends to try their pancakes. Evelyn and I have tried some samples during last year’s Macaron Day. They were good, real good. Good enough to go back again for some more.
We ordered wild maine blueberry pancakes with warm maple butter. These things are hard to finish in one sitting because there’s just so much of it to eat. And the warm maple butter is a must. I would say that they’re better than the actual pancakes, but maybe it’s because I like my pancakes plain.

Joanne ordered sweet potato fries, which she did not like because it wasn’t what she expected. The fries are made the home-style way and has a southern vibe to it, so if that’s what you’re looking for, go for it.

Happy Pancake Month!

I’m craving some pancakes !
I have been craving Maine blueberries all day. You taunt me!
I grew up raking wild blueberries in Maine and when I get homesick – blueberry pancakes are where I head.
Would love to go to Clinton Street Baking Co!
p.s. I would have happily eaten Joanne’s potatoes :)
I will let her know :)
