Empire Cake

The food club and I went to Empire Cake. They offer homemade versions of the classic American cakes and desserts.

Clear windows are the great for gawking at cupcakes…

…and cake.

The Brooklyn Blackout Snack Cake looks really tempting when dusted with chocolate crumbs.

They have black and white cookies as well, both big and small.

This is one of the best red velvet cupcakes that I’ve ever tasted. The cake is moist and rich and topped with an ideal amount of cream cheese frosting. It brings me back last red velvet cupcake I had in Boston.

Joanne took a bite out of the pink snowball before I could get to it.

Nostalgia.
